To me, Adelaide Scene is the different personalities and people in our city that make it so interesting and loveable.
Right now I'm heavily invested in Adelaide's local band scene, having just discovered it and already feeling like I belong. Being apart of a community like this has shown me that there is so much more to Adelaide than what people see on the surface, and I am so excited to delve into the different arts and culture of what my city has to offer. We've also just had the Adelaide Fringe, of which I was able to attend two shows, The Finest Filth Variety Hour, where queer talent was presented in a fun and diverse manner, as well as the Murder City Roller Derby's Big Gay Bout 2.0, which was super fun to watch despite knowing very little about derby! Anyway, the point is, so many different subcultures make up Adelaide's Scene and it's my mission to document as much as I can while having as much fun as I can.
